Public fare with Emirates via Dubai: 973 CHF
Changeable for 150 CHF and refundable for 300 CHF, with baggage allowance 30 KG.
With a humanitarian fare on an exactly same itinerary, the ticket price ticket is more economical and more flexible:
Humanitarian Fare: CHF 833
This fare includes an additional baggage allowance and better conditions.
The ticket is changeable and refundable for free. The baggage allowance is 40KG.
Internet fare with Iberia via Madrid: 2059 CHF
Changeable and refundable for 160 CHF, including 1 baggage.
Humanitarian Fare: 1369 CHF(with exactly the same itinerary and flight numbers).
The NGO saves 690CHF.
In addition to this, the ticket is flexible and includes two allowance baggage.
A humanitarian organization got a flight ticket (911CHF) to Erbil (Iraq) with Austrian Airlines through a conventional travel agency. The ticket must be canceled due to logistical reason but unfortunately the ticket is non refundable. In this case, the ticket would be completely lost.
The same ticket with NGO Travels would have cost 899CHF, and refundable completely against 50CHF.
